About The Tournament

The FIFTH annual "King Fore a Day" Veteran Charity Golf Tournament will be hosted at Cobblestone Golf Course (1298 University Parkway | Blythewood, SC 29016 | (803) 714-2620),  on September 12th, 2022.

Range Fore Hope Foundation is the 501 (c)(3) organization that hosts the tournament annually. The mission of the organization is to assist Veterans and their families by providing them access to resources at no cost to the Veteran or their dependents.

The event proceeds will be donated to the following Veteran Non Profit OrganizationsProject Josiah Restoration Ministries / Hidden Wounds PGA (HOPE - Helping Our Patriots Everywhere Program) and our host organization Range Fore Hope Foundation.

It was the goal to have an annual event that would bring awareness to the struggle that some of our Veteran's and Service Members deal with on a day to day basis.

This year our goal is to create several Golf Programs under the Range Fore Hope Foundation that will offer FREE access to the Driving Range and access to a PGA Professional to the Veteran and their dependents (spouses and children) during that Range time. We have partnered with TWO locations currently: Cobblestone Golf Course (Blythewood, SC) and First Tee Columbia (Columbia, SC - downtown area).

Last year, the Fourth Annual event raised enough money to provide additional resources to Veteran's in need throughout SC. It paid for ONE SIX WEEK PGA HOPE Program hosted here in Columbia, SC. It was used to train 25 peer to peer Facilitators here in SC through its partnership with Project Josiah/Hidden Wounds.

Vet to Vet Peer Group Facilitator's assist Veterans in a group setting as well as offer them access and information to resources that they may not know they're eligible for.

This year our goal is maximize our efforts and provide additional resources to these partner organizations that are providing services to our Veterans here in South Carolina!!
